Kadans Project and Solo Career

Okay Aybey is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the four-member rock band called Kadans Project. The band’s stage performance is dynamic, and its vocals are powerful. Additionally, Aybey is also heavily focused on his solo career.

So far, five singles have been released. He has presented his works to listeners under the Garaj Müzik and Vona Production labels. His solo albums include “Yalan Oldum”, “Hoşçakal”, “Hayaller”, “Pek Yaman”, and “Bulut”.

His passion for music began in his childhood years when he was part of the school band. He performed on many stages and festivals in Turkey and abroad. He played an active role especially in folk concerts held throughout Turkey. As one of the founders of Kadans Project, he gained the audience’s appreciation with his energetic presence on stage and strong vocals.

He has a special interest in Turkish folk poetry and literature. In his projects, he draws inspiration from the poems of folk poets like Karacaoğlan and Ruhsati. By blending the energy of rock music with emotional and meaningful lyrics, he has created a unique style.

He also arranges all of his songs himself. He is actively involved in every stage of the music and demonstrates his expertise in visual arts by taking on the direction of his music videos.

Concerts and Events

Okay Aybey has performed on stage in many cities across Turkey and at various events. He has appeared at events such as the Izmit Fair Public Concert, Çınarcık Festival, Benefit Concert for Bolu Earthquake Victims, and Edirne Festival. He continues to give concerts across a wide range of venues, from university spring festivals to municipal youth festivals. During the summer seasons, he has been performing at Eftelya Lounge in Dikili, Izmir for 12 years.
