Born in İzmir (03.03.1988), musician Tansel Tanşu is a talented guitarist and songwriter representing the "soft and emotional" sound of the Alternative Rock scene. Starting his musical journey in school choirs during childhood, he continued with the electric guitar in high school. Tanşu, who largely defines himself as self-taught, has built a strong identity in the music world through his individual work and numerous group projects. He currently continues his active music life in Batman at the Minerva Book Cafe stage.

Although Tansel Tanşu's production area is Alternative Rock, he defines his style as "soft and emotional". This emotional depth is fed by broad sources of inspiration, such as nature, literature, and social issues, which form the basis of his works. The artist writes all the lyrics and music of his songs himself, offering listeners a completely personal and original narrative.
Names that have influenced him musically include Teoman and Mor ve Ötesi, landmarks of Turkish rock music. He combines this influence with his own emotional and melodic structure to create his unique sound.

Throughout his career, Tansel Tanşu has participated in various musical disciplines, having been a part of important bands such as MANYETİKBAND, BİZSİZ10LAR, OKAY AYBEY, and the most well-known KADANS PROJECT. In addition to his group experiences, Tanşu has focused on solo works and released a single titled "ELA". In the recording and mixing phase of this work, he collaborated with his friend Bayram Ekinci from the Bizsiz10lar group. Additionally, the video for "ELA" was designed by the artist's close collaborator Okay Aybey.

Displaying a strong presence on stage with his electric guitar, Tansel Tanşu has performed at events in different regions of Turkey, such as Ege University Spring Festivals, Aydın Ünirock Song Contest Regional Finals, and İzmir Dikili Eftelya Lounge.
The most distinctive feature that sets the artist apart in interacting with the audience is the continuous contact and sincere approach he establishes with them. Tanşu emphasizes this special bond by saying, "I am always in touch with the audience, and there is always a verse (section) that I leave to them in every song." The most unforgettable stage moment of his career was when his 3-year-old daughter came on stage and sang with him.

Leading an active life with interests in areas outside of music, such as motorcycling and fitness, Tansel Tanşu's biggest source of motivation in art is the support of his family.
Setting his future goals as major festival stages, Tanşu is currently working on a few new songs that are in the arrangement and project planning stage. His message to young musicians is very clear and inspiring: "Don't give up on your dreams." Tansel Tanşu continues to add value to the alternative rock scene with his passion for music and vision focused on continuous growth.
