This Privacy Policy is prepared to explain which personal data we collect when you use the BeatNeed platform (the “Site” or “Platform”), for what purposes we use this data, with whom we share it, and what your rights are regarding this data.

  • Financial Information: Invoice details, bank account information (for revenue sharing), first and last four digits of credit card information (payment transactions are carried out by secure third-party payment institutions).
  • Transaction Information: Details of purchased products or services, order history, payment records.
  • Technical and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, your login and logout times on the site, pages you viewed, duration of stay on the site, and other anonymized or personal usage data.
  • User Content Data: Beats, news texts, images, profile photo, comments, and other content you upload to the platform.
  • Marketing and Communication Data: Data including your communication preferences for marketing notifications and e-newsletters.

4. Methods and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through the following methods and based on the legal grounds specified in articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:

  • Data Collected Directly from You: Provided directly by you through membership forms, order forms, contact forms, or by sending us emails. (Legal Grounds: Establishment or performance of a contract, legal obligation of the data controller, legitimate interests of the data controller provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person are not harmed)
  • Data Collected Automatically: Automatically gathered during your use of the platform via cookies and similar technologies. (Legal Grounds: Legitimate interest, explicit consent)

5. Our Purposes for Processing Personal Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account on the platform.
  • To provide the services we offer (beat sales, PR services, etc.) and fulfill our contractual obligations.
  • To process your orders and payments, and to issue invoices.
  • To conduct revenue sharing processes and make payments.
  • To communicate with you and respond to your support requests.
  • To analyze the platform’s performance and improve and develop our services.
  • To ensure the security of the platform and prevent fraud.
  • To fulfill our legal obligations (tax, e-commerce regulations, etc.).
  • If you give consent for communication, to send you marketing notifications about campaigns, promotions, and announcements.

6. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with the following third parties domestically and abroad, within the scope of the purposes stated above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK:

  • Service Providers: Our business partners providing services such as payment institutions for payment transactions, hosting services, email delivery services, cargo companies, etc.
  • Legal Authorities: Courts, prosecutors, and other authorized public institutions and organizations in case of a legal obligation.
  • Business Partners: Artists or companies with whom we carry out revenue sharing or joint projects (to the necessary extent).

7. Duration of Personal Data Storage

Your personal data will be retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they are processed and for the storage periods stipulated by the relevant legal regulations (e.g., Turkish Commercial Code, Tax Procedure Law). Once the purpose ceases or the legal retention period expires, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

8. Your Rights as the Data Subject (KVKK Article 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • If processed, to request information about it,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used accordingly,
  • To know the third parties within the country or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
  • To request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
  • To request deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • To request the notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To claim compensation in case of damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, you can submit your request in writing to the above email or postal address together with documents proving your identity. Your request will be finalized free of charge within at most thirty (30) days.
